Virginia Jones is a talented standup who has been on Portlandia, CNN’s History of Comedy, and an Australian tap dance infomercial. Virginia has over 20K followers on TikTok, whom she loves more than her family. Most recently, she has opened for Maria Bamford at Levity Live Oxnard, opened for Jackie Kashian at sold-out shows at the Siren in Portland, Oregon, and performed for sold out shows at the 21st San Francisco Sketchfest.
She has opened for comics like Laurie Kilmartin, Ryan Conner, Paul Morrissey, and Eddie Pepitone, and not just the thing where she happens to appear before them on a showcase, but like, they asked her to open a show for them and then she did it and was amazing and then they said good job and she said thank you and then they usually go eat something.
She’s also a hotshot podcaster, hosting the popular show “My Sister’s A Therapist” with her sister, LMFT Laura Ryan.
Past
Virginia Jones has been on more comedy festivals than you’ve had hot dinners, like the San Francisco Sketchfest, Altercation Comedy in Austin, Bridgetown, All Jane, WICF, Chico and Santa Cruz festivals, and was a semi-finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition. She’s saving all her laminates and one day she’ll roof a house with them.
She was a featured performer at 2023’s Ha Ha Harvest in Portland!
Future
Virginia Jones is pleased to appear at SF Sketchfest in January of 2025!
She’ll be on shows with the HA HA HARVEST in Portland this Thanksgiving weekend!
